Eden Prairie Life Time Athletic Club introduced its players to the new Tencap Tennis technology platform in February, 2009, but the club has been
a long-time supporter of dynamic Tencap Ratings. Their events are a great example of how the Tencap Event Management System can help
increase participation across your entire club.

In 2009, Eden Prairie Life Time Athletic recorded more than 2,900 matches in their various Singles and Doubles Invitational Mixers and Challenge Cup Singles Flights.
Today, more than 350 players at the club have earned their official Tencap Tennis Ratings. Players use the Tencap-Powered site to see their latest Tencap Ratings as
well as the history of their matches and their match statistics. Each week, the Eden Prairie Tennis Staff print and post the rating movements of their most competitive
men's groups, which keep players fixated on the bulletin boards before they hit the courts. More than anything, the weekly update of ratings gives players a more accurate
depiction of their opponents' skill levels, allowing Life Time Fitness Pros to ensure that all their players are always playing in competitive groups.
Tennis Pro and Men's League Coordinator at Eden Prairie LTA, Raman Jayapathy, said "Our members love it for several reasons. They are earning Tencap Ratings based on
their true abilities - their match scores. The rating system has given us a great way to keep the ability levels in our programs congruent, which has led to more competitive,
fun matches – a driving force for increasing participation." He added that members like having singles and doubles ratings, and dynamic element of the system keeps them motivated.
"They are not labeled with one rating regardless of their results. Instead, their rating is constantly changing based on their results, and that keeps them on the courts."

Gordon Reid, Tennis Department Head at Eden Prairie, is excited about the coming year. "Tencap has primarily been used for our Men's programs and the Life Time Fitness Women's
League, and it has been incredibly successful in both. This year, we are excited to take advantage of more of the technologies available in the system to introduce it to our
junior players."
Along with Eden Prairie, Life Time Fitness has 11 other clubs around the country that have implemented the Tencap Tennis System and have introduced Flex
Leagues and various in-house leagues using the system. 2010 looks like it is going to be a year of excellent growth in participation at Life Time clubs
as they begin to implement more successful in-house programs to their members.
